Second Life’s biggest Home and Garden event has opened for registrations – and places are already filling fast.
The 5th Annual Home & Garden Expo benefitting Relay For Life of Second Life, a fundraising campaign for the American Cancer Society, will open on May 19th at 6am SLT, and remain open 24 hours each day until it closes on May 28th at 10pm SLT. At the moment, it is planned to span THIRTEEN sims, but its popularity may mean it needs a couple more … already nine of the first level sim sponsorships have been booked (and Prim Perfect is very proud to be sponsoring one of the sims ourselves!).
But of course you don’t need to sponsor a whole sim to take part! There are exhibitor spaces ranging from small parcels to large lots – something to suit everyone, in fact. And Prim Perfect will be there, blogging, filming – and organising another series of Meet the Designer talks. We’ll be saying more about that shortly.

This expo will cover all areas of home and land decor in Second Life. From prefabs and furniture to flowers and swimming pools, the event gathers together many of Second Life’s greatest architects, furniture makers, gardeners and landscapers, some well-known and some not so well-known, in a grand display to Second Life shoppers and visitors.
In addition, there will be many opportunities for you to reserve advertising space across the Expo and at the entertainment area, as well. The Relay Raffle and Silent Auction will return again to the Expo, with free advertising opportunity there for items donated.
There will be musical entertainment at the Main Stage Area throughout the Expo and the lineup is being filled now with amazing performers. Additional activities at the Expo will include an Expo Classroom, a Breedable Pet Show (on its own region!), the Amazing Race, and an RFL Teams Shopping Plaza among others.
