Except, in this picture, we’re not. That’s because today’s jigsaw is taken from Inworldz, which has the a representation of the RMS Titanic moored at a busy port – Cherbourg in northern France, perhaps, or Queenstown (now Cobh) – the last landfall on that fatal voyage.
Today we have the second of three images of the Titanic (taken by Wildstar Beaumont) that we’re showing this week – and it’s taken from the recent Designing Worlds show about different reconstructions of the Titanic in virtual worlds – which also contains a wealth of facts and stories about the fated first voyage of the Titanic.
One hundred years ago, at 11.40pm (ship’s time) on April 14th, the Titanic struck an iceberg.
Catch up with your Prim Perfect jigsaws (showing images of Second Life and other virtual worlds).
If you’d like to submit a photo of your own to feature as a jigsaw, send it to the Prim Perfect Flickr Group. It should be sized 800w x 600h, or else it will need to be re-sized.
