Following on from yesterday’s jigsaw (and my post about Second Life’s Birthday), another jigsaw from SL8B last year.
Is it possible that residents can organise their own large-scale celebration? It should be – a lot of the organisation of the Birthdays has always been done by residents, and the talent is certainly out there.
Perhaps a combination of sponsorship coupled with resident endeavour will allow a centralised event to happen … or perhaps it will be a calendar of events across the grid. My own preference would be for a centralised event – perhaps with offshoots (in the way that, in previous years, residents were encouraged to travel from the Birthday to visit commercial outlets, or mature or adult regions).
But for now – we have a jigsaw to complete and today … it’s bulbous!

with sponsorhip of such an event…. it really needs to be coming from Linden Labs… if not, I would be amazed if anyone would have the energy to coordinate such an effort. its a simple thing for LL to reach the ears of all resients of SL. A huge endeavour for almost anyone else
