With the success of our most recent magazine, The Primgraph (you can see the latest issue here), we’ve been contemplating new offices for some time.  There’s a headland in Caledon Glengarry that has been set ahead to house them, and we’ve just been waiting for the opportunity to build.

Now the time has come, and we asked Edward Pearse, who designed the original Radio Riel building in Caledon Penzance, to create a design for us.

The stipulation was that it should be based around the design of the Oxford University Press buildings in Saffia’s home town of Oxford, a building that fits in period and is also a glorious piece of architecture.

Using textures taken from Oxford buildings, and also helped by the fact that Google have recently launched the street view of Oxford, Edward has created something which we think is quite magnificent.  Currently, it is  1:10 model of what the final building will be – but you can see it on display outside the Prim Perfect offices in Oliveto.  Come along, take a look, and let us know what you think!

Of couse, with the model set out, it was just too tempting to slip into a dragon avatar and play Godzilla …
