Our first issue of the New Year is here!

Have your forgotten your New Year’s Resolutions yet? We haven’t – because we made a resolution to bring you more glorious regions, more talented designers, more advice, more information and more gorgeous eye-candy … and you’ll see that we’ve kept our resolution in this issue with a visit to the stunning Giverny region, inspired by the life and works of the painter Claude Monet.

Ceejay Writer explores the region and talks with our Designer of the Month, Kaye Robbiani, who shares with us a beautiful home furnished in French country style.

Jvstin Tomorrow chooses his favourite spots to visit, while Tekillya Mode meets the co-owner of Giverny, Soliel Snook. Scotti Lyle has a fascinating account of the real Giverny, and explores the life of Monet which led him to this beautiful French village.

And in pursuit of romantic locations, Raven Haalan has paid a visit to Tempura Island, a fitting location to be our Valentine Landscape of the Month.

Thinking of spring planting for your garden? Or even being more ambitious and preparing to plant a spring meadow? I’ve talked to some of the top landscape designers about their suggestions for creating the best looking display for the most economical primmage, and you can see their ideas in this month’s gardening article!

Lumiere Noir gives another class on Modular Building in our popular series for builders, and in Content Creator News, Gwen Carillon celebrates the second anniversary of the Content Creators Association, while Coughran Mayo explores a fascinating nonprofit working out of New Jersey and using *Second Life* to teach young people about tolerance.

In our Pathfinders article this month, Sofia Standish talks about the hazards and benefits of working on commission. We look at Sofia’s career as a creator and Aarcher Zanovka, one of our original Pathfinders, reflects on how she has progressed over the last year, and the different things she has learned.

So how can I get Prim Perfect?
If you prefer to read the magazine online but not inworld, there are choices. Firstly, there’s the wonderful Calaméo system, which allows you to moves smoothly through the pages, giving you the feeling of reading a real magazine. You’ll find Issue 23 here – and please do leave a comment!

But, if you like to download your magazines to read as you commute to work, or in the bath, or wherever, you can also obtain a standard pdf for downloading and printing.

For a short time, it will be available through XStreet (just search on the site for Prim Perfect). This will deliver you a copy in the form of a Thinc book that you can rez and read inworld. However, we will shortly be closing our XStreet Store and moving to another internet based provider, as we are not prepared, for a magazine that is free at point of delivery, to pay the listing charge being asked of us by Linden Lab.

We also have subscribe-o-matic kiosks throughout Second Life (these are taking over from our older vendors) – so you can just click to subscribe. You’ll be sent a copy of the latest issue, and then you’ll receive your issues regularly!

Another inworld option is to buy from our inworld vendors (located at various stores). Sometimes we have had problems with these, but you can help! If you see a vendor still selling an earlier issue, contact primperfect@gmail.com, and we’ll send someone to update it.

Or you can have it delivered to you each month as a Thinc Book, by joining the Prim Perfect Readers group inworld. It costs nothing to join and, apart from delivering the magazine each month, we won’t overload you with chat or messages!

In addition to delivering the Thinc Book version of the magazine, you’ll also get a link to the online Calaméo version of the magazine, so you’ll be able to access that too.
