Designing Worlds takes to the trails and rails of the mainland

On the Trail ...
On the Trail ...

Join us at 2pm SLT today, Monday 7th November, at our new studio in Garden of Dreams2 for the broadcast of our first visit to the trails and rails of the Second Life mainland.

In this show we start by exploring Second Life Route 6, the High Mountain Road, in the company of Simple Wunderlich, as we ride from the end of the Great Wall of Second Life in Spini to Simple’s vertigo-inducing (and very lovely) Mountain Retreat in Plebeja.

If you need a horse to ride, there’s a horse rezzing station near the start of this route, created by Prokovy Neva. And many thanks to Prok, who pointed me at this lovely trail in the first place!

Then we turn our attention to the railways and, in the Snowlands, take the train service from Okemo Canyon to Wengen on the ONSR Okemo Nakiska and Southern Railway. We find out a little about the railway and then, when we reach Wengen, we have a chance to explore the range of Winter sports created on public land by the Lindens.

All in all, there’s lots to see, and we think that many people may be surprised at what the mainland has to offer!

We will be screening this show in our new studio, designed by Kayle Matzerath, on Garden of Dreams2. Do come and join us there at 2pm!

Or – if you can’t attend in person – tune in at 2pm SLT on Monday for the live show on http://treet.tv/live – where you can now chat with other audience members and even some of the participants during the show – or catch it later in the week on our shows page on the Treet.tv web site at http://treet.tv/shows/designingworlds– our very own version of the iPlayer!
