Join us at 2pm SLT today, Monday 14th November, at our new studio in Garden of Dreams2 for the broadcast of our second visit to the Second Life mainland where we are joined by Nexus Burbclave, who has recently undertaken the Mainland Renaissance project to highlight some of the fascinating builds of the mainland..

Nexus takes us the the Hotel Chelsea in Lanestris, a loving recreation of the well-known new York location, where we meet Mykal Skall, its creator who works with Enola Vaher, the manager, to bring this fascinating area to life, and we talk about the build and the district that surround it. And Elrik takes a look at the famous music club – CBGBs.

Then we move on to explore the beautiful Temple of Neptune in Nautilus and see some of the gorgeous Linden designed buildings there on public land.

A highlight of the show is our visit to Solkide Auer’s amazing 300 metre tower at Italic Art, on the mainland slim of Slitheen – he was going to remove it, but he has left it up a little longer so that viewers of Designing Worlds could take a trip to explore this amazing build for themselves.

And we finish with a resident build in Nautilus – Kothar by Valentine Easter – which we think may surprise you!

All in all, there’s lots to see, and we think that many people may be surprised at what the mainland has to offer!

We will be screening this show in our new studio, designed by Kayle Matzerath, on Garden of Dreams2. Do come and join us there at 2pm!
