Prim Perfect Jigsaw: Sailing in the Blake Sea

Sailing in the Blake Sea

Today’s jigsaw comes from a very striking images taken by Wildstar Beaumont while sailing in the Blake Sea. Sadly, I’ve had to crop it to fit the exigencies of the puzzle – you might want to go and take a look at the full sized image here, because it really is glorious.

I love the details it shows, like the tufts of seagrass growing on the cliff face. And it’s to be hoped that the winds are not too gusty because that expensive delicate ship, as Auden has it, could be sailing far too close to the rocks. Perhaps after all, they were distracted from their calm passage by something amazing – a boy falling out of the sky. Or perhaps they were distracted by a rather large World War 2 battleship.
