Today, as a treat, we have a couple of jigsaws, both taken from the entrance point to the Relay for Life of Second Life, which will be taking place this weekend, the 14th – 15th July.
The intention is that people come in via the special portal island, attached to the main American Cancer Society island. Here they will find all the information they will need about the event … and also a display of the flags of all the countries taking part (as well as a sculpture related to this year’s theme – “Time for a Cure”.

There are, I believe, over ninety countries taking part this year (although I didn’t stop to count the flags!).

If you miss out on some of the information, however, you’ll find information points around the track, one in every sim. And you’ll not only be able to gain information about the Relay – there are goodies like the walk and talk backpack, which enables a group to walk around the track together easily. There’s even a special edition Linden Bear.

And you’ll also find TV screens in every information point too, which will allow you to watch the Relay – and too see the special ceremonies which will be filmed and shown live.
