Prim Perfect Jigsaw: A chance to solve the mysteries of The Blackened Mirror

You’ve probably see the trailer by now – at least we hope you have! But tomorrow, as part of the Happy Hunting! show, the first episode of The Blackened Mirror will finally be released.

Why, you may wonder, is a film noir style series (with elements of Steampunk and classic Lovecraftian horror) airing as part of a show all about Hunts and Hunters in Second Life?

Well, that’s because as well as a TV mini-series (and watchable purely on that level), The Blackened Mirror comes filled with games, hunts and puzzles to be solved. Prizes (and rewards) range from genuine 1930s cocktail recipes to inworld gifts to secret information that will unlock mysteries within the show.  You can follow the show from clues on the web to hunts inworld – with odd, quirlky little side contests – for example, if you find a link between one certain piece of information and a broadway musical, you will win a chance for your name to figure as a character in The Blackened Mirror – and you get to choose whether you’d rather be a hero/ine or a villain/ess!

So have a go at the jigsaw now – and make sure you catch the show tomorrow!
