Prim Perfect Jigsaw: A Venetian Waterfront

I was tempted to explore this sim by a recent post from Honour Macmillan on her blog, – Honour’s Post Menopausal (View of Second Life). Usually I would use one of her amazing photos – but this time the skies were dark, and I thought it would be kinder to fellow jigsaw enthusiasts to capture an image in the daylight!

I was so impressed by this build. As anyone who has followed me for any length of time will know, the first offices of Prim Perfect were on Venice Island, tucked away by one of the canals. Later we moved to a rather more grand palazzo in the same location – modelled on the pink one you see at the left of the jigsaw. No, you can’t see them – there were very 2007 builds! Finally we had an outlier office in the campanile in the centre of the square which, with glass walls inside, gave rather fine views.

Venice Island is now long gone, of course, in all but name – I think it’s still part of Regent Estates, but now a private residential island.

This Venice is, however, beautiful – I was impressed walking around – the use of textures is very clever, to the extent that – even with a very basic camera technique, it’s easily possible to capture very realistic shots – as I did. Do go and take a look – and take a look at Honour’s blogpost too!

UPDATE: The textures were created by Second Life photographer Quinn Ying, and the build is by ӃɑҽԂҽ (kaedepan.akina) – a really awesome job!

But before you go there, here’s a certain jigsaw …
