Join us at 2pm SLT today, Monday 30th January, for the new episode of Designing Worlds at our studio in Garden of Dreams, when we’ll be visiting the beautiful estate of Rosehaven, which has recently celebrated its tenth anniversary.
Perhaps the name may be a little unfamiliar to you? That is because until recently, the estate was known as Winterfell, a name it took in 2016, long before a certain television programme had made the name widely known.

We talk to the estate owner Selena Anansi about the reasons for the name change, and about why her voice sounds strangely familiar!
Rosehaven is a estate of mystery and romance, with some dark undertones. We take a look at builds old and new (including some new mews cottages), and discuss the different aspects of this lovely fantasy estate. We visit some of the residents in their homes – including Elizabeth, the Duchess of Trikassi, Mr Podruly Peccable and our very own Wildstar Beaumont who was one of the very earliest residents of the estate!

And we take several tours of the waterways to see some of the magnificent castles and other builds.
As we go we talk about roleplay as opposed to lifestyle, and talk about the role that storytelling plays in Rosehaven.
We can promise you a really lovely show so do join us to watch it at 2pm SLT.

If you would like to visit the Rosehaven Estate for yourself, the recommended starting point is Rosehaven Castle.
Or – if you can’t attend in person – tune in to the web at 2pm SLT on Monday for a showing on SLartist or on Treet – or catch it later in the week on our shows page on the Treet.tv web site at http://treet.tv/shows/designingworlds, on the SLArtist.com channel, the Aview TV Designing Worlds channel – or on the Designing Worlds blog.
