Join us at 2pm SLT today, Monday 19th June, for the new episode of Designing Worlds at our studio in Garden of Dreams as we pay a visit to the beautiful and creative region of Idle Rogue home of the famous Guerilla Burlesque, the After Dark Club and so much more!

We are shown around some of the many venues that are contained on Idle Rogue (and Wildstar Beaumont was on hand to capture photographs of more), as we explore the region with the owner and moving force behind the community, Cherryblonde Scribe, and with other active members of the community – Sho Kyong, POL Arida and Arrehn Oberlander.

Sho Kyong shows us the gradual evolution of a dance, taking inspiration from one of POL’s songs. We explore how the sets, the choreography and the music are all combined to create the final performance. And we see how the Metaharper tools are used – designed by Arrehn Oberlander, this scripting system not only enables choreography in the conventional ay but also – as Saffia discovers – allows people to try out dances for themselves.

And all this takes place in a stunningly lovely region with a strong community that really is a joy to explore.

So do join us at 2pm today in our wonderful new studio for a fascinating and beautiful show.

Or – if you can’t attend in person – tune in to the web at 2pm SLT on Monday for a showing on SLartist – or catch it later in the week on the SLArtist.com channel, the Aview TV Designing Worlds channel – or on the Designing Worlds blog.
