The final show of the current season (Season 24) of Designing Worlds – where we visit the special Second Life educational establishment that teaches you all about building (and much more) in Second Life – Builders Brewery – is now on the web!
We visit the Brewery with the owner Sensuous (Sen) Maximus who explains something of the history of the Brewery, and also the different elements on offer, including stores stocking materials for building, a sandbox and a terraforming area. We visit classrooms and Saffia actually attempts a class and discovers how to build a special summery creation!

We also talk to Yen Verhoeven who is carrying out research for her Ph.D thesis on Virtual Learning: An Application of Constructivist Grounded Theory to Explore Emergent Learning in Second Life through studying what forms of learning emerge through the practices found at the Builder’s Brewery as part of her work towards developing a virtual theory of learning.

More information about Builders Brewery can be found on their website here: http://www.buildersbrewery.com/
