In the first episode of our new season, we discover a fascinating desert location,the setting for Sanctuary, a very successful roleplay community that has been running for eleven years.
The show goes live on Monday 11th February at 2pm SLT on the Designing Worlds Vimeo channel and on the Designing Worlds channel at SLArtist – and you can join the special Watch Party (also at 2pm SLT) in our studio on Garden of Dreams.
We talk to some of the people behind the roleplay, Stevie Basevi, Belial Darwinian, Ŝĥαďє χ Rαιη (assisted by Tanith Rosenbaum) as we explore the streets and marketplaces – and learn all about the beautiful immersive world of Sanctuary. There are humans and demons and a rich backstory that has been in progress for eleven years.
There’s also an amazing HUD system in place too, that allows people to fight, craft, farm and generally immerse themselves in a whole rich way of life. And don’t miss Elrik exploring the terrors of the underworld!
