Designing Worlds explores the campsites and design regions of Relay for Life of Second Life Part 2

Today, Mon 28th June, Designing Worlds pays the second of two visits to the beautiful campsites and design regions that were created for the Relay Weekend that was the culmination of the 2021 Relay for Life of Second Life.

From 2pm today Monday 5th July you can see the show on the Designing Worlds Vimeo channel at: https://vimeo.com/channels/dworlds. Or you can join us for our Watch Party in the beautiful Designing Worlds studios in the Garden of Dreams!

We begin with an interview with Nuala Maracase, Relay for Life Co-Ordinator, who tells us all about the five days of Hope Fest in the run-up to the Relay Weekend, and we explore the regions that were created for this event. We also talk to Silver Howler, who created the Main Stage, and also the Pursuit for a Cure team site (which we saw on last week’s show when we interviewed Stingray Raymaker).

Then we talk to several people as we explore their campsites – Arizona Ballinger-Whiplash of Relay Rockers, and Melina Furehawk of Heroes Helping Heroes, as well as looking at the Designer Area created by Isabella and Jackson Trig, RFL Win, and – a campsite to delight Saffia’s heart – the mer campsite belonging to Sol Existence.

It makes for a beautiful and fascinating show – so do tune in from 2pm, or join us at 2pm SLT at the Watch Party in Garden of Dreams!
