Designing Worlds maps out Second Life … at the New Kadath Lighthouse!

Today, Monday June 15th, we are exploring a beautiful – and absolutely fascinating – region within Second Life – New Kadath, which houses (among other delicious treats) the Lighthouse Art Gallery, home of the Museum of Second Life Maps!

Join us at 2pm when you can see the show on the Designing Worlds Vimeo channel at: https://vimeo.com/channels/dworlds and on the Designing Worlds channel at SLArtist at: https://www.slartist.com/browse-dw-videos-1-date.html.

And you can join the special Watch Party (also at 2pm SLT) in our studio on Garden of Dreams.

To explore the amazing Museum and the wider region, we’re joined by the Keeper and Custodian of the Lighthouse, Julianna Lethdetter and region creator Dragonia DeCuir.

Julianna shows us around the fabulous map museum, with cartography going back to the earliest days of the Second Life grid, while Dragonia takes us on a tour of the beautiful and exotic region of New Kadath, with its fields, bunnies, dragons and flying whales – and a Cheese Shop – where you can sample the wares!

It all makes for a beautiful and fascinating show – so do tune in or join us at 2pm SLT at the Watch Party in Garden of Dreams!
