Designing Worlds explores the builds of Relay for Life of Second Life weekend 2022

Join Designing Worlds today, Monday 4th July at 2pm SLT as we visit one of the most beautiful estates in Second Life – the Grove Country Club Estates.

From 2pm SLT today you can see the show on the Designing Worlds Vimeo channel at: https://vimeo.com/channels/dworlds. Or you can join us for our Watch Party in the beautiful Designing Worlds studios in the Garden of Dreams!

Each year there are themes, and this year the theme was Heroes of Hope. There were lots of cityscape camps and quite a few castles … and we’re going to be exploring quite a few. We talk to some of the residents who have created amazing campsites and art sites, and also by our own field videographer who tells us all about livestreaming the event. And we explore other stunning areas – such as the beautiful Survivors and Caregivers.

And with Wildstar Beaumont on hand to add yet more beautiful images of the weekend event, this makes for a stunning and moving episode.

So do join us for our Watch Party in the beautiful Designing Worlds studios in the Garden of Dreams, or watch on the web.

  1. While there are genuine reasons why people have difficulty with perceiving written language, dyslexsia for example, it’s a bit of a shame to have a misuse of “your” instead of “you’re” on the billboard in a theme featuring teaching and education. Teachers are indeed heroes and are woefully underpaid and undervalued, something that society ignores at its peril.

    Best wishes,
